Karol Duran – Dental Office Manager
Karol Duran has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2014. After working in the back office as an RDA, she transitioned her way to the front office and served as a billing coordinator, scheduling coordinator, and was eventually promoted to a position in management.
She is currently the Office Manager at Channing Dental and is able to transition smoothly from assisting, when needed, to overseeing day to day operations in the office. Her humorous attitude and caring nature make patients feel welcomed and attended to in the dental chair and at the reception desk. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her son Adam at the park, movies and snowboarding in the winter.
Tiari Fejeran – Dental Treatment Coordinator
Tiari Fejeran is our wonderful treatment coordinator. She began her journey in the dental field back in 2014. She received her license as a Registered Dental Assistant in Washington state before relocating to California and obtaining a position at the front office.
She genuinely enjoys getting to know her patients and building relationships with them. Her bubbly and caring attitude carries on into her personal life as well. When she is not at the office, she enjoys reading, outdoor activities, cooking-but most importantly, spending time with her family and friends.
Kassi Teshome – Dental Assistant
Kassi Teshome has been a dental assistant for 30 years! She has an array of skills that she showcases every day by assisting the doctors in their day-to-day needs and being a great team player. She loves chatting with her patients and always greets them with a lovely smile and a compliment, making her an exceptional assistant.
She is originally from Florida and recently moved to California to be closer to her daughter. She loves fundraising, being active with her local church, and talking to her daughter on the phone.
Patricia Montano – Dental Assistant
Patricia Montano is our Lead Registered Dental Assistant. She was introduced to dentistry through her father, a periodontist in the field, and has been hooked for 22 years since.
She loves focusing on patient care, building strong relationships, and educating others on the importance of prevention through natural health.
When she isn’t a rockstar in the office, she is a supermom out of it, spending time with her 3 children, cooking healthy meals and visiting her family in Mexico.
Mark Tangi – Dental Assistant
Mark Tangi is another one of our superstar dental assistants and has been assisting for 6 years! He originally went to school for cosmetology until he discovered his passion for dentistry and has been assisting since then. He brings a great energy and positivity to the office and puts a smile on everyone’s faces when they walk in.
His kind nature makes his patients feel comfortable and welcomed. When he is not assisting chairside, he is discovering new restaurants and being the best uncle to his nephew Aiden. He also loves to be outdoors and travels whenever he gets the chance.
Shane O’Brien – Dental Hygienist
Shane has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2014. Originally from Buffalo, NY, he moved to the Bay Area in 2021.
He strives to build enjoyable visits for his patients and educating his patients on maintaining optimal dental health.
He loves to accommodate his patients however possible and considers himself a lifelong learner of dentistry. Outside of work, he enjoys camping trips, playing his guitar, and enjoying time with his friends and family.
Sara Mohammed – Dental Hygienist
Sara is one of our newest dental hygienist. She received her education from Chabot College in Hayward.
She is passionate about promoting good oral health and helping her patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. She is dedicated to providing a comfortable and stress-free experience for all of her patients.
When she is not working, she loves watching movies, listening to music and spending quality time with her family.
